Disablement
forces reluctant sale. It has to go at a ridiculous price so that I can
cut my loses.
The aircraft was bought in 2005 so that i could learn to fly in it.The trailer was custom made for the Kolb in the spring of 2005 and is completely covered to
protect, store and transport the aircraft. This alone cost £2000 to have made.
I began my training in June 2005 and last flew it in November 2005, during which tiem it flew for
5 hours. It was exactly what I wanted and was looking forward to flying it regularly.
At the same time my physical condition was deteriorating with the result
I had to have spinal surgery, and a hip replacement.
The aircraft has been kept for all this time with the hope that I would be able to fly it again, This is not now an option, hence the sale.
The Kolb is a lovely aircraft, a joy to fly, offering good all round vision and handling characteristics, and is very cheap to run.
It is in perfect condition throughout and comes with some extra goodies
on the closure of the deal.
It is stored at the moment at Haverford West airfield, but will be moved closer to my home in the next week or so.
£8500
ono
is the asking price
